Always passionate for challenges Rick began looking for what he considered his final destiny. In 1997 Rick began pursing a place to learn how to fly helicopters.
Researching schools across the country, as fate would have it, Rick & Yoyo met. In 1998 relocating from the Monterey Peninsula to Los Angeles, to fly with Yoyo, the process began.
With the inauguration of Twin Air in 1999, Rick followed along to complete his Commercial license and CFI to become part of the original team of the now successful Twin Air Corporation, pursuing his vision. Along with his passion for helicopters, Rick is multi-certified in sky diving, scuba diving, car racing and an accredited sommelier.

Massimo got his private license in Italy in 1991 at Elifriulia helicopter flight school. He was a business man working in his own company and did not have a lot of time to complete his Commercial license but, a career as a helicopter pilot was always on his mind.
In the Summer of 2003, Massimo came to TwinAir where he met Yoyo, the Chief Pilot. A year later he moved to Los Angeles specifically to complete his flight training at TwinAir and to start his career as a Professional Helicopter Pilot. In March 2005 Massimo got his commercial license, September 2005 he got his CFI license and in October 2006 his IFR rating. As a flight instructor Massimo has already achieved over 800 hours as flight instructor in one year and over 1500 hours total time. In the past Massimo was in the Parachute troop in the military service, he then for almost 20 years was a volunteer member of the Alpine Search and Rescue Team in Italy (Corpo Nazionale Soccorso Alpino).

Maggie West
CFI

When she was young, she always knew that she would end up flying helicopters. A strong impression in the 6th grade when she saw her first helicopter up close left her bewildered and amazed knowing that one day she would hover too.
In the years to follow, she tried to pursue flight training but the costs were too high for her. She completed a college degree in Business Administration and settled for a desk job for several years. However her eyes were always up to the sky when a helicopter went by, she would never rest until she hovered. Within a couple years span she achieved her Private License, Commercial License and CFI license. Years later Maggie is now a flight instructor with TwinAir and enjoys a wonderful career flying and teaching other people to fly helicopters.
